Well hey there another year is almost in the can, still at a job i dislike, but getting through. Can't wait to return the Army because at least there I have a chance to be better than today.

Well there's always the ARNG, simply because of the in house jobs. I know in NH its easy as prior service to get and in state active job. Here everybody knows your name in the guard so it easier to get in, try for a temp position. Your best resource can be a State guard command. Not knowing specifics for your situation, my battle buddies were always trying to get me to come work at headquarters. They may not be glamorous but its work. I guess its just something to try in the meantime.

I apologize for my limited knowledge, I know the Guard side of the house. There were always jobs to be had, you just had to be willing to temp first. I just hate to see us Vets suffer when we ETS and can't find work.

Yea thanks. I know how to transition over here. That's fine and dandy. And doubt they will hire me considering other security jobs won't hire me, even jobs that I had before I joined the military won't hire me. I'm stuck in a rut. I've also already been to USAJOBS. I've applied to A LOT of jobs there, and nothing came back for me. I'm on currently 7 different job websites. Yippy. And for th ANG I doubt they will take me, they ARE a part of the military, and I was discharged from the military. Also with my med problems, doubt they'll take me.

Army Biased I guess. I honestly do not know. Perhaps it is because I lack awesome or that no one accepts my requests.
