Ultimate Truebie indeed.
In the words of Team America: "FUCK YEAH!"
The missus (GnomeGrrl) decided to get TrueBlood Season 1 on DVD for her birthday last year because she watched one episode of Season 2 while we were at a hotel near the Grand Canyon. One episode and she automatically became addicted. So I sat on the couch with her to watch Season 1 to make sure it was money well spent (it was).
Discontent with the fact that we couldn't get the Season 2 DVDs for a while, I'll tip my hat to the boys at TPB. We watched Season 2 in a matter of a week. Discontent in waiting for Season 3 (and a desire to re-watch Season 2), we subscribed to HBO (That's Home Box Office...not Halo.Bungie.Org, cool in its own right but irrelevant to this story).
Since HBO are huge teasers, they started running a contest on Facebook for the Ultimate Truebie Experience which involves a recap of the Season 2 finale on the big screen, a live simul-cast Q&A with the TrueBlood creator, and otherwise unavailable previews of Season 3. And we won tickets to the Las Vegas showing!
Now I need to stop Twittering with SookieBonTemps...although it is really cool that she answers back.
