Update and congrats

Hey all. Just giving ya an update on the job and crap. It's going pretty well honestly. There's a lotta stupid crap with transportation and hotels but the work itself isn't bad. Lotta standing up on ladders, running network cables, cable management (making them not a rats nest), updating/replacing cash registers and card swipes... It's really pretty straight forward. Anyways, there was some crap with transportation. Some retard wanted 4 of us to travel 9 hours in a Chevy HHR with all our luggage and tools. I said fuck that, rode up with another team and *drum roll* got assigned a company VW Passat... 190 HP V6 with 4matic tranny. And it's an epic piece of shit. The trans is shot, it has about a whole second lag in throttle response and it's some awful tan-ish gold shit color. Anyways, it beats the hell outta spooning with 3 other grown men in a shitty ass Chevy HHR... Gotta think cup half full. That's a tough one for me. :)

Also, a bit fat congratulations to my friend Shane! I'll let him break the news in his own journal but I just wanna say congrats.

I dunno, I haven't tried yet, but probably a less gay version of TDM. Even if it just had humvees to get around I wouldn't mind. You cant whore a humvee for too long before someone gets pissed and hits it with two rockets. And I think you're right. When Shane, and one of my friends hosts, I'm with all lower levels (under lvl 30, usually even under 20) with one or two colonels per team.

In reply to Cutlasslord: Hopefully. At the moment you're not missing a whole lot. There are quite a few times that the Beta is down. And now there's a glitch to fall under the map and shoot people. But you cant move.

Well, I was talking about how Medal of Honor should have been like BF3. The maps and feel is that of BF:BC2, but a little bit faster paced, and from the map that they have on the beta, more close quarters, but still have distance.

Okay, so for the attachments, you have to unlock them with each gun just like CoD. Just like MoH, you can have multiple attachments. From my understanding, there are three types: Barrel, Optics, Underslung. Barrel includes having a heavy barrel, which increases accuracy, but also increases muzzle rise. Suppressors are also in that class. Then there's optics which you can go for the option for no optics for the sniper rifles. Finally there's underslung, which includes a rail (which I figure that the rail allows you to equip a masterkey or grenade launcher as a secondary weapon instead of a pistol). There's also a grip (which decreases horizontal drift when firing and can be equiped on a sniper rifle) and bipod. There's also laser sights, and tac lights, which both can be used to dazzle enemies when pointed at them, the tac light more than the laser especially in the dark. Then there's perks like sprinting faster, carrying more ammo, etc.

I love the aiming system in this game. Snipers have scope sway, and the ACOGs and scopes on snipers reflect light. Semi-auto snipers have to be re-aimed a bit for a follow up shot so shooting fast is VERY inaccurate. Sniping now takes a LOT of skill. The same goes for the other guns, and the bipods on support weapons help immensely for accuracy. Burst firing is a must for accuracy.

Because guns now can be loaded to be the magazine capacity +1, you carry the amount of ammo per magazine and +1 per magazine. So if you have 3 mags of 30, you carry 93 rounds spare, plus start with 31 in the gun. It's totally legit.

Those are all the main features that I have loved that they changed, and I already told you about the health system.
