Mass Effect 3 Complete!Amazing game! Absolutely fantastic. Everything you'd come to expect from a Bioware game. Then the ending happened.
I'm not going to spoil anything, but for fuck's sake, you don't end a trilogy with a deep story, deep and interesting characters, with ZERO explanation as to what happens after it's all over. I wanted real resolution to these characters that I've been so invested in over the course of these three games. I wanted one last tour of the Normandy to see what all my teammates had to say about our victory. I wanted to see how the galaxy changed thanks to my actions. I got none of that, and i'm greatly disappointed by that.
Do I think it's worth it ...

Do I think it's worth it to protest Bioware and demand refunds because of that? No, that's stupid. I hear that they are working on some DLC that may explain a bit more about the ending. Unfortunately, that's too little too late, as I will have returned the game to Gamefly before it comes out. However, I disagree with any game company that thinks it's okay to release DLC that expands upon an ending. I felt this at the end of Final Fantasy XIII-2 as well. People who paid full price for your game expect a satisfying resolution, not being forced to buy DLC in order to find out what happens next. That's bullshit. Create a game with a real ending, and make any DLC take place after the resolution.
That is a terrible trend in games today, and it really needs to fucking end. I blame EA for this, because this always seems to happen with EA titles. It's like EA are the reapers, and they've indoctrinated Bioware. Aside from that, though, I very much enjoyed my time in ME3. Easily a 9/10 for me. Fantastic game - bad ending.
